Projects

These are the projects I am proud of and that best represent my current abilities.

FAUST-9

FAUST-9 was an experimental project that allowed me to develop my skills in designing advanced NPC AI. My goal was to create AI behaviors suitable for a horror game centered around a single monster stalking and hunting the player.

The main monster, FAUST-9, features an advanced perception system that allows it to effectively track the player using both sight and sound. Running in the background is a game director that manages pacing by monitoring the player's stress level. When the player’s stress is low, the director will give FAUST-9 a hint about the player’s location or direction. When the player’s stress is high, the director will direct FAUST-9 away to give the player space to progress

A Murder of Crows

For this project, I set out to recreate a Vampire Survivors–style game for a game jam hosted by my college. My team and I developed the game in Godot 4.5, and I served as the lead programmer.

The final result is the first game I would consider fully polished from start to finish. Overall, the experience taught me a great deal and significantly strengthened my development skills

Expenditure

Expenditure is a card game inspired by Gwent from The Witcher 3. However, instead of getting your cards back at the end of each round, every card you play is permanently lost.

The overall goal of this project was to challenge myself by creating a type of game I’m not typically used to and to gain more experience working in Godot. In this project, I focused solely on the technical side and teamed up with an artist for the visual assets.

The Reaching Dark

I completely programmed this project from the ground up using the processing language. I made this for an Introductory programming class in which the goal was to create a game using fundimentals of programming such as loops, custom functions, and classes.

The Shadow of Dracula

The Shadow of Dracula is a Vampire themed deck-building board game where you assume the role of a vampire lord vying for control of the land after Dracula's death. You must compete against the other vampire lords in traveling the land to gather influence and power while also defeating regional bosses. After Van Helsing, the final boss, is defeated player count up how many victory points they acquired with the winner being the player with the most.

Invaders from Space!

This project was my first time using blueprints. We were to make a game level
